The Preschool/VPK Teacher position is an hourly position that reports to the Director. The Preschool/Lead VPK Teacher is a highly organized, compassionate, and self-starting individual dedicated to inspiring wonder and joy into preschool-aged children by implementing content-rich curriculum and character development.
Average Range: $10.00 – $15.00 / hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- 45 hours of DCF Training
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or BA degree in Early Childhood Education
- Three years of experience working in a preschool setting
- Maintains a current certificate for the four-hour first-aid and four-hour adult/child/infant CPR course
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Sound knowledge of early childhood education
